The Camel- created by God with the desert in mind. He knew man would need such an animal to carry them, and their possessions for long distances without water. Villages and the occasional oasis were few and far between, and man would need something sturdy, and dependable, the camel. Merchants used them to carry goods across exotic trade routes. Many believe camels brought the Magi to visit baby Jesus.
Each figurine is intricately hand-painted by Italian artisans.
